Hi, my name is Tony and I have been a  Stonemason in Wiltshire  for the past 30 years. I’m originally from Bath and now based in East Tytherton,Chippenham, Wiltshire.  I’ve  had extensive experience working on a wide range of masonry and  building projects. Based mainly within the Wiltshire/Somerset/Gloucestershire areas.  I  have been involved with National Trust Projects including Dyrham Park, Stourhead, and The Courts at Bradford on Avon, This has included contracts for Stone restoration and traditional Lime repointing work which required traditional techniques, like using lime mortar instead of cement, Lime being much more sympathetic to the stone also allowing the wall to breathe releasing moisture,

For the last 15 years I have expanded into the private sector involving private and commercial properties. This has included new build Cotswold stone walls, lime repointing and stone restoration on many listed properties theses have been based at a wide variety of locations such as The Jewish burial ground combe down Bath, Abbey House, Bradford on Avon, Biddestone, Bath, Castle Combe, Calne, Lanhill House Chippenham, Pewsham House, amongst others. I have also completed Cotswold stone walling at Kington Langley,Bath and the Castle Inn at Castle Combe. My expertise as a traditional Stonemason in Wiltshire includes all areas of Stone Restoration,Lime repointing, and all masonry work.  other services I offer  include Paving, drystone walls, Drainage, cement repointing for brick.  Please do take a look at my recent work and gallery pages on this website for recently completed jobs.
